Research firm KLAS ranked Accelarad as the top image exchange vendor in a recent report. Image Exchange 2013: A Close Look at Accelarad, November 12, 2013 awarded Accelarad’s cloud-based medical image exchange platform seemyradiology.com an 89.6 on its independent evaluation.
The company received between a 4.2 and 4.8 on a 1 to 5 scale in areas including security, workflow, scalability, new-sender setup and viewers. 30 percent of Accelarad customers reported better image access and throughput of patient care, and 100% of customers intended to maintain their relationship with the product.
The company’s mobile app has also found a large audience, with 50% of customers currently using it and another 9% planning to adopt it. The tool lets clinical staff access images and reports offsite via an iPhone or iPad.
Accelarad’s network currently includes 1,650 facilities and processes more than 400 million medical images each year. The full report can be downloaded at Accelarad.
