According to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Atlanta radiologist Rajashakher P. Reddy, MD, was found guilty of our counts of health care fraud. Reddy was the founder of the Atlanta-based teleradiology firm Reddy Solutions Inc.
Quoted in the report, United States Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said, “He produced tens of thousands of reports claiming to include his medical findings and diagnoses based on radiology studies that had been performed, when in fact all those interpretations had been performed by nonqualified medical assistants.”
The reports on question were submitted between May of 2007 and January of 2008.
