s03a.jpg (8124 bytes)The prediction for Atlanta this month is plenty of balmy weather and exciting news as the American College of Cardiology hosts its 51st scientific symposium and exposition in the Peach State. The event will run March 17th through March 20th.

The ACC promises “the most comprehensive cardiovascular education event of 2002.” Sessions will include coverage of breaking news about trials and debates by experts on controversial topics of the day. A new offering this year is virtual training in a simulated laboratory courtesy of interactive CD-ROMs. The symposia will be of special interest to clinical cardiologists, echocardiographers, electrophysiologists, interventionalists and nuclear cardiologists.

The exposition will feature the latest cardiovascular products and services from more than 400 vendors, a few of which we are previewing here.
