The Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) has developed two new webinars designed to help radiologists manage their practices and deliver optimal patient care in the coming months of the COVID-19 pandemic. All webinars are free, but registration is required.

The Impact of COVID-19 on Radiology Residents and Resident Education will be held Friday, May 15, 2020, at 11 a.m. Central Time. Focused on the impact COVID-19 is having on radiology residents, trainees, fellows, residency programs and medical students, this webinar will cover trainee experiences during this pandemic, impacts on board exams, job searches and recruitment, and valuable educational resources to assist trainees during this time. CME will be available for both the live and on-demand versions of this webinar. The webinar is free, but registration is required.

COVID-19 – Radiology Surge and Second Surge Preparedness (Part 1) will be heldFriday, May 22, 2020, at 11 a.m. Central Time. This webinar will focus on strategies and tactics hospitals in the United States and internationally can implement to prepare for and handle the surge of COVID-19 patients. Radiologists from Singapore, Argentina, and the United States will discuss readiness due to past experience with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) virus, how to manage a COVID-19 surge in the first wave and how low-resource countries can prepare for surges. Part 2, to be held in June, will focus on second surge preparedness.
