Three organizations recently earned continued recognition as American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Continuing Education (CE) Partners:

  1. The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) earned three-year continued recognition as a CE Approver, CE Tracker, and CE Transferor.
  2. The Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) earned three-year continued recognition as a CE Approver.
  3. The Oregon Board of Medical Imaging earned three-year continued recognition as a CE Approver.

CE Approvers review CE activities and determine whether educational activities meet ARRT requirements. If they do, CE approvers determine the credit value awarded for completing the activity. ARRT also refers to CE Approvers as Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanisms (RCEEMs) or State Licensing Agencies (SLAs). Moreover, Oregon is one of the states that ARRT recognizes to approve CE activities for Category A credit for technologists licensed in the state of Oregon.

Further, CE Trackers verify completion of CE activities and maintain records of CE activities that technologists complete. Finally, CE Transferors electronically submit technologists’ records of completed CE activities to ARRT.

“We’ve updated the list of currently recognized entities on the ARRT website,” association officials say in a statement. “We do that whenever the recognition status of CE Partners changes.”
