Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc has introduced the FDA-cleared Dose Tracking System for Infinix-i cardiovascular x-ray. The Dose Tracking System visualizes x-ray emissions through an easy-to-read, color-coded display.
Toshiba’s Dose Tracking System displays an approximation of patient skin dose on an intuitive and easy-to-interpret, color-coded indicator presented as a graphical representation of the patient that can be monitored in real time throughout the exam.
Spot Fluoroscopy is another Infinix-i dose management technology, offering a more complete picture while improving safety during interventional procedures. It provides improved imaging while better managing radiation exposure by providing a live “spot” of fluoroscopy overlaid onto the Last Image Hold (LIH) surrounding area.
Both technologies will be showcased at the Heart Rhythm Society’s (HRS) annual meeting in Denver, and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions annual meeting in Orlando, Fla, on May 8 to May 11.
