SST Group, of Santa Clara, Calif, recently announced an agreement with MPTronic, a Paris-based radiation dose monitoring system developer, to become the exclusive distributor of its RDM product in the United States and Canada. RDM collects, controls, analyzes, and optimizes radiation dose delivered to patients during medical imaging exams.
Vendor neutral and compatible with a range of imaging modalities, the RDM utilizes a dose archive and communication system (DACS) to store and manage radiation dose data for a patient’s current and historical procedures. Features include an intuitive browser-based user interface, which deploys multiple control screens at no additional cost. Medical professional can remain in control at all times, enabling instant access to a patient’s dose history and real-time monitoring and alerts.
