A new solution from KOM Networks and RamSoft Inc provides a turnkey DICOM-compliant secure storage solution for diagnostic imaging. The KOMpliance vendor neutral archive is scalable and WORM-secure to meet image-related interoperability, meaningful use, and Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) requirements. The system is also IHE-compliant and DICOM conformable and will be available only through KOM Networks and its KOMunity Channel Network.
The system allows customers to route and safeguard their RIS and PACS data, and can be deployed in customers’ existing environment (physical, hybrid or virtual) and on their choice of storage (NAS, SAN or Virtual Machine). Imaging data can be shared across internal departments, external organizations or remote locations. All imaging data is centralized online, secure and available within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to improve clinical decision-making, enhance quality of care, eliminating duplicate studies, and speed up treatment for patients.
