TeraMedica has received top honors from the research firm KLAS. The company’s Evercore vendor neutral archive (VNA) earned the VNA/Image Archive KLAS Category Leader Award for 2014 as part of the Best in KLAS report.

“In the extremely competitive vendor neutral archive market, TeraMedica has proven we have the preeminent solution for today’s healthcare system,” said Jim Prekop, president and CEO of TeraMedica, Inc. “This KLAS Category Leader recognition is further proof that our VNA technology brings together disparate clinical data across the enterprise—and functions in a most meaningful and efficient manner.”

The Best in KLAS and KLAS Category Leader Awards recognize vendors in pursuit of excellence whose products best align with provider needs. Rankings are determined by provider scores across software, professional services, and medical equipment. Healthcare executives, managers, and clinicians from more than 4,500 hospitals and 3,000 clinics participate.

The award ceremony will take place in Chicago on April 12, coinciding with the HIMSS annual meeting, the premiere conference in the healthcare information technology field.
