RSNA Webinar — COVID-19 and Health Disparities – A Call for Action

This webinar focuses on health disparities that have been continually masked outside of pandemics such as COVID-19, identify contributing factors, and discuss strategies and share sample initiatives that can be implemented by radiologists to tackle healthcare disparities during COVID-19.

Topics include: uncovering health disparities during COVID-19; tackling healthcare disparities during COVID-19: the radiologist’s role; Q&A; and call to action.

The webinar will be moderated by RSNA board liaison for science Carolyn C. Meltzer, MD, William P. Timmie Professor and Chair of Radiology & Imaging Science and executive associate dean of Faculty Academic Advancement, Leadership, & Inclusion at Emory University School of Medicine and Yoshimi Anzai, MD, MPH, professor of radiology, associate chief quality officer at University of Utah.

Speakers include:

  • Paul J. Rochon, MD, FSIR, associate professor of radiology-interventional radiology, University of Colorado School of Medicine
  • Dania Daye, MD, PhD, instructor of radiology, Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School

Viewing and participation in the live webinar is free, but registration is required. RSNA is offering CME credit for both the live and online versions of this webinar. Information will be provided during the webinar about how to obtain CME credit. There is a nominal fee for non-RSNA members to access the CME versions of the webinar.
