Konica Minolta and GE Healthcare have announced an expansion to their 2013 distribution agreement for the AeroDR wireless panel to include a new digital upgrade solution for the GE Optima XR200 AMX mobile x-ray system. The system’s features include a user touch screen, expanded storage bin space, a smaller footprint, and more powerful generator.

“Konica Minolta Medical Imaging is pleased to continue expanding our partnership with GE Healthcare to new products,” said Diane Hunt, vice president of marketing for Konica Minolta. “A key component in our initial agreement was to provide our customers with choices that fulfill their clinical needs. This is clearly another important step in fulfilling that vision.”

The AeroDR, a cassette digital x-ray device, was designed to reduce patient discomfort during portable procedures. For more information, visit Konica Minolta Medical Imaging.
