To improve visualization and diagnostic confidence during a wide range of interventional and EP procedures, California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles installed three Infinix-i vascular x-ray systems from Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc.

California Hospital uses Toshiba’s Infinix-i systems to perform general and peripheral vascular exams, including acute myocardial infarction, peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC), transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS), coronary, electrophysiology (EP), and radial procedures.

“California Hospital required a system that offered unrestricted patient access and would work with their clinicians to see, move and work better,” said Stephen Bumb, director, x-ray vascular business unit, Toshiba. “Toshiba’s Infinix-i with WorkRite technology, featuring the unconventional five-axis design, enhances ergonomics and line of sight to display monitors. The result: increased clinician comfort and productivity.”
