The Journal of Nuclear Medicine yesterday announced it has published "Molecular Imaging of Cancer: from Molecules to Humans," a general reference tool that discusses the most recent advancements in cancer diagnosis and patient care management through molecular imaging techniques.

The peer-reviewed supplement includes research articles from guest editor Sanjiv Sam Gambhir, M.D., Ph.D., director of the Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford University School of Medicine, and well-known authors.

Topics include the latest advances in molecular imaging instrumentation, tumor cell metabolism imaging, molecular-genetic imaging based on reporter gene expression, and tumor receptor imaging.

Published as a supplement to the June issue of The Journal of Nuclear Medicine, the reference book is now available for purchase, being offered for $41 for SNM members and $48 for non-members.
