Direct Medical Imaging Purchases Esaote’s O-Scan MRI

Direct Medical Imaging, a private practice based in Lytham St Anne’s, Lancashire, UK, has purchased Esaote’s O-Scan, a compact MRI unit for extremities scanning. 

O-Scan provides radiologists with access to images via secure software. 

The open design of the O-Scan is versatile with high image quality, and pairs well with the facility’s whole body scanner, allowing greater efficiency within the practice. Lytham St Anne’s chose Esaote’s O-Scan because it scored highly in image quality, design, and cost as well as providing new scan sequences to allow better assessment of cartilage and bone.
