The American College of Radiology (ACR), Reston, Va., is offering off-campus certificate of proficiency through the ACR Education Center. The first course offered will be in breast MRI and held at the Silver Cloud Inn at Lake Union in Seattle, WA.

Constance Lehman, M.D., Ph.D., professor and vice chair of radiology at the University of Washington and director of breast imaging, will be leading the course, which will utilize 100 hands-on breast MRI case exercises.

In addition, the College will be offering MRI guided biopsy workshops off-campus.

This is the first time that the ACR Education Center has gone on the road, but it won’t be the last. “We invite all physicians to regularly check the ACR Education Center Web site for any future off-campus courses,” said Reuben Mezrich, M.D., Ph.D., chair of the ACR Education Center Committee.”
