Konica Minolta has introduced a new solution for private practices that desire the option to upgrade to digital radiography. The single bay CR system is based on a Windows 7 platform and designed to improve workflow and increase productivity.

The system provides an intuitive user interface with a number of menu and flow adjustments. A revised RIS/PACS interface includes a robust modality work list function enabling users to customize exam tags and establish multi-view tags. The workstation supports multiple Konica Minolta digital imaging systems, in addition to the generator and collimator. The Nano P+ can upgrade from CR to DR for improved value, and comes in a compact design for flexible placement.

“With the launch of the Nano P+ CR system, Konica Minolta reaches new and current customers with solutions tailored to specific healthcare environments, and that are easily upgradeable for high economic value,” said Diane Hunt, vice president of marketing for Konica Minolta Medical Imaging. “This Windows 7 platform enhancement can help satisfy HIPAA requirements. Plus, with the launch of the Nano P+ with the CS-7NP platform, Konica Minolta also continues to support its customer base by completing our transition from XP to Windows 7 systems.”
