Winn Army Community Hospital, a TRICARE military treatment facility in Fort Stewart, Ga, installed Toshiba’s Vantage Titan 3T MR system for general, musculoskeletal, and body imaging. This acquisition marks the 1,600th Vantage MR installed worldwide and the 500th installed in the US.
Toshiba’s Titan 3T has a 71-cm patient aperture, providing a greater feeling of openness. It is also a quiet system—Toshiba’s Pianissimo noise-reduction technology reduces exam noise by up to 33 dB(A). For safer exams, the system incorporates Toshiba¹s proprietary non-contrast techniques.
