Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. displayed its suite of document and content technology last week at the annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society Annual Conference and Exhibition in Chicago.
The company demonstrated its portfolio of content management products, which are designed to enhance the healthcare experience for patients and providers. Features of Toshiba’s Ellumina digital signage solutions include functionality for streamlining check-in and registration, engaging patients in waiting rooms, and offering wayfinding directional guidance.
In addition, the company exhibited its thermal barcode printers, which allow for printing of prescription labels, specimen samples, asset labels and patient wristbands. Also on display was Toshiba’s e-STUDIO 5055c, a Cerner-certified multifunction product created to streamline processes across an entire healthcare enterprise.
“At Toshiba, our commitment to quality and affordable healthcare is a vital element of our company’s heritage,” said Toshiba America Business Solutions chief marketing executive Bill Melo. “Developing technology to heal and improve peoples’ lives is something we take very seriously. By attending the foremost event in IT healthcare, we are looking forward to sharing how our suite of products touch and facilitate many of the steps throughout the patient care process.”
