
With solutions that integrate anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and molecular and genetic testing, Sunquest aims to streamline workflows and empower providers to diagnose and treat their patients accurately and quickly. It also seeks to increase and drive revenue opportunities for healthcare institutions, reduce their cost of testing, and provide accurate and timely test results.
Sunquest also highlighted significant investments to improve its product portfolio, including Roper Industries’ acquisition of Data Innovations, a prominent provider of laboratory connectivity solutions that integrate diagnostic instrument manufacturers and health information system providers.
The company also announced strategic investments with GeneInsight and CellNetix Pathology and Laboratories. With GeneInsight, Sunquest plans to build a next-generation genomics system, in an effort to simplify the reporting process and reduce the cost and complexity of precision medicine. Meanwhile, the company will collaborate with CellNetix to co-develop anatomic pathology solutions that will diagnose and treat patients faster and with greater accuracy.
