May 15, 2007—Southern Regional Health System (SRHS), Riverdale, Ga, recently selected the integrated RIS/PACS/reporting solution from Agfa HealthCare, Greenville, SC, for its diagnostic imaging department.
"SRHS is rapidly transforming the entire diagnostic imaging department from an analog environment to digital," said Danny Whitt, director of the diagnostic imaging department at SRHS. "The move will make SRHS one of the most state-of-the-art hospitals in Georgia with respect to PACS, voice recognition reporting and RIS. We expect Agfa HealthCare’s technology will help us streamline communication between departments and result in fewer repeated studies."
