Solis Women’s Health recently announced that it has acquired Arizona-based BenOra Imaging, the oldest dedicated breast diagnostic facility in greater Phoenix.
Drs. Wayne Hansen, Richard Vanesian, and Michele West will continue as the principle physicians in the center, which was founded in 1982 by Dr. Avi BenOra.
According to Solis CEO Brad Hummel, BenORa will be relocated to a new, completely digital facility that is “designed around the efficiencies and benefits of digital image acquisition and transfer.”
“The center will offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic services and will be fully integrated into the Solis radiology information system,” Hummel said.
BenOra Imaging President Dr. Richard Vanesian said the merge will give access to important financial and managerial resources.
“This will allow us to accelerate our goal of bringing state-of-the-art technology to a larger patient population in central Arizona,” Vanesian said.
As a specialized healthcare provider focused exclusively on the screening and diagnosis of breast cancer, Solis Women’s Health Solis operates eight north central Texas facilities; the Solis-Bertrand Breast Center in Greensboro, N. C., and has several sites under development in markets across the United States. It is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
