Ris Concepts, of Miami, Fla., has announced a new patient data access portal for its RCI-RIS, a browser-based multi-facility application that supports a comprehensive range of advanced RIS features.
The portal enables registered patients to log in over the Internet and download reports and related data in real time using a HIPAA-compliant password. Radiologists’ final signed reports are accessible as well.

Features of RCI-RIS include real-time scheduling, dictation, transcription, patient demographics, document scanning and billing, as well as proprietary HL7 engine.
