September 19, 2007—GE Healthcare, Waukesha, Wis, recently announced that 16 of the 18 top Honor Roll hospitals listed by US News & World Report in its 18th annual edition of America’s Best Hospitals currently use one or more GE Centricity solutions. The report examined over 5,400 medical centers and ranked 173 hospitals as the best, giving Top Honors to 18 that demonstrated excellence with high scores in at least six specialties.

At the top of this year’s list is Johns Hopkins Hospital, a Centricity Business, Centricity Perinatal and Centricity Pharmacy customer, also currently implementing Centricity Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in the hospital’s affiliated clinics. Other Honor Roll customers include the Mayo Clinic, a Centricity Enterprise customer; UCLA Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital, customers utilizing Centricity Imaging solutions; and Stanford Hospital and Clinics, a Centricity Business, Enterprise and Imaging customer.
