Carestream Health, Inc, Rochester, NY, has won the 27th annual Healthcare Advertising Award for last year’s launch of its CARESTREAM DRX-1 System. The award is sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report.

The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest advertising award competition devoted to health care. This years’ competition had 4,000 entrants. Those entries were reviewed by a national panel of judges who picked the winner based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.

Carestream shares the honor with its marketing agency partner The Verdi Group, which submitted its DRX-1 system launch campaign in the Direct Mail Advertising category for medical devices.

The DRX-1 system converts an existing analog x-ray room into a wireless DR technology in less than a day and at a minimal cost, especially compared to a full forklift suite replacement.
