Web-based electronic imaging solution provider INFINITT North America, of Phillipsburg, N.J., today reported that it in one year it has tripled its sales from RIS and PACS.
For the fourth quarter of 2007, the company saw $8 million in sales, more than three times that in the fourth quarter of 2006.
A company executive attributed the significant increase to its renewed contracts with existing customers, as well as signing on new customers. Furthermore, the rep pointed to an increased awareness from PACS decision makers on the magnitude of interface and integration issues.
The INFINITT RIS/PACS, designed to streamline radiology workflow from patient registration to final report approval, is built on a sophisticated relational database that eliminates the need for an interface between modules.
