Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd. today announced that Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., has replaced its conventional film X-ray equipment with IDC’s X2200, X1590 and X1600 direct digital radiography (DR) systems in its three radiography rooms.
Ease of use, customer service, and affordability were some of the factors cited in Saratoga Hospital’s selection.
With more than 280 physicians representing a wide range of medical specialties, the 100-year-old hospital has been pursuing digital technology to produce efficiencies in many areas of care.
According to Mildred Aviles, director of Medical Imaging Services at Saratoga Hospital, “Upgrading to IDC’s DR systems is helping us to better meet the imaging needs of both our physicians and patients. We are able to provide information more quickly and accurately to a larger number of people.”
