Fujifilm Medical Systems USA Inc. announced that its FDR Go, the latest in the company’s digital portable portfolio, has been released for sales in the United States.

Fujifilm’s FCR Go portable employs the anytime/anywhere benefits of CR cassettes. FDR Go utilizes Fujifilm’s Irradiated Side Sampling (ISS) and Dynamic Visualization (DV) technologies. ISS detector design enhances sharpness while increasing dose efficiency compared to conventional designs. DV processing dynamically extends image detail and contrast recognition, resulting in first up images with outstanding clarity and even higher window and leveling capabilities.

FDR Go offers the speed, image quality and dose benefits of Fujifilm’s FDR D-EVO detectors with enhanced portable features that include: a compact size for maneuvering in tight spaces; a quiet, smooth drive system; a large touchscreen display; image preview in as little as 2 seconds; SpeedLink automated menu mapping of preferred dose lowering techniques; and tube head inching controls and more.
