For the sixth year, Fujifilm Medical Systems, Stamford, Conn, will be awarding a grant to two radiology residents. The $2,500 grants will help defer travel expenses to the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) Annual Meeting, which is being held in San Diego from May 2nd to May 7th, 2010.

The grants provide funding for the complete registration and all courses, as well as the lodging and travel to and from San Diego.

To be eligible for the grant, applicants must be a member of the ARRS or have a membership application, and must be enrolled in a residency or fellowship program. To apply, applicants must write a two page, double-spaced “personal statement of why you would like to attend the ARRS Annual Meeting and what you hope to gain from the experience.”

In addition, applicants need to submit a copy of their CV and a recommendation from their program director, including a statement of good standing. Contact information for the training/program director should also be included in the application.

Completed applications must be received by the ARRS by February 15th, 2010 by being emailed to [email protected].

Fuji will announce the winners on March 5th. In addition, the recipients will be recognized on May 3rd at the Scholars and Awards session of the meeting.
