FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA Inc (Fujifilm) and Nuance Communications Inc have entered a partnership to sell Nuance’s dictation systems to Fujifilm’s radiology customers. The companies have also agreed to collaborate on product development.
Fujifilm’s Synapse customers at hospitals, imaging centers, and radiology practices will now be able to purchase Nuance’s next-generation radiology speech recognition reporting platform, PowerScribe 360, through Fujifilm. In addition, radiologists can expect integrated product offerings when utilizing Nuance’s radiology reporting and communications platform with Fujifilm’s Synapse PACS and Synapse RIS.
Teams within the companies are already working together so that facilities can benefit from a product that combines speech-enabled reporting, dictation, and data analysis into one step.
