April 5, 2007—Doylestown Hospital, Pa, recently selected MEDSEEK Inc, Solvang, Calif, to redesign its Web site. The regional health care resource incorporates 400 beds over three locations—Doylestown Hospital, Pine Run Health Center, and Pine Run Lakeview.
“We selected MEDSEEK after evaluating several vendors,” said Doylestown Hospital CIO Rick Lang. “Our goal was to partner with a company that could expand and grow with our needs, continually introduce new Web-based solutions and help us to easily and effectively connect with our patients, physicians, consumers, and employees.”
SiteMakerE, the MEDSEEK rapid-development content management system, will be the primary tool in use by Doylestown Hospital as it revamps its Web offerings, creating a consumer portal and building a cleaner and more efficient site. MEDSEEK was selected after a 10-employee Internet strategy committee embarked on a two-year search for a vendor that could help the hospital attain its wish list of Web site functionalities.
