A new KLAS report shows that advanced women’s imaging is taking center stage as providers are now looking at the performance of supporting technologies to ensure accurate diagnosis. The report, titled Women’s Imaging 2013: Measuring the Options, also examines the biggest obstacles facing women’s imaging as told by the providers. Reimbursement, patient education, and state notification bills about breast density are some factors that health care providers are watching closely as they look to the future of women’s imaging.

The vendors highlighted in this report include Hologic for their top performance, Siemens for improvement in their automation, GE Healthcare for their solid network of field support engineers and MRS for becoming a leader in MIS for the first time.
