Blackford Analysis will demonstrate its suite of software products for comparison of medical images at the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) conference in Long Beach, Calif, May 15-17. Intended for integration with a PACS, advanced visualization viewer or universal viewer, the products are designed to streamline evaluation of multiple images with one click.
The company will feature four elements of its software:
- Blackford MatchedCrosshairs allows users to quickly locate the same point on a scan across multiple scans from different timepoints and modalities, such as CT, MRI or PET.
- Blackford MatchedView enables image viewers to compensate for shifts in patient position and acquisition planes across scans, automatically adjusting exams to the same position and plane for like-to-like comparison.
- Blackford AutoSync performs automatic slice synchronization across exams regardless of differences in acquisition protocol and patient positioning for faster reading.
- Blackford Fusion fuses views of exams from the same, hybrid, or complementary modalities to enable display of accurate anatomical location of functional imaging findings.
