Offsite radiology services provider USTeleradiology, LLC, of Atlanta, Ga., today announced its acquisition of University Nighthawk Partners, LLC, based in Roysford, Penn.

Also known as Nighthawk Pros, University Nighthawk Partners provides after-hours preliminary reports to hospitals throughout the United States.  USTeleradiology plans to leverage Nighthawk Pros’ physicians, licenses, technology and distributive workflow processes against its current Teleradiology Center-based platform.

With its purchase of Nighthawk Pros, along with the launch of USTeleMammography, LLC, in 2006, USTeleradiology projects its 2008 annual revenue to fall in the $11-12 million range.

Initially, the three entities will operate separately with some shared management and operations. According to the companies, this will allow them to take advantage of their individual strengths, achieving economies of scale and eliminating costly redundancies.  Their convergence will occur on accounts that utilize a combination of nighttime preliminary reports, daytime final reads, mammography services, and/or QA services.
