, Mount Laurel, NJ, launched a national program that caters to a new and growing national trend in health care: urgent care clinics. Recent statistics demonstrate that patients access urgent care centers in greater numbers due to convenience, quick service, and decreased costs compared to traditional hospital emergency rooms.

There are more than 8,700 urgent care centers in the US today, approximately 4,500 of which are fully-fledged centers that would meet the criteria for a Certified Urgent Care center. Over the past 6 months has participated in a small pilot program in Texas where an urgent care clinic shares a facility with an imaging center with providing 24/7 teleradiology service.
