New survey results have provided insight surrounding how satisfied—or unsatisfied—physicians are with their current electronic health record (EHR) providers, reports Becker’s Hospital Review.
While physicians often report dissatisfaction with EHRs — and 11 percent of acute facilities and 16 percent of ambulatory facilities plan to leave their current vendors — a Reaction Data survey sought to determine the reasons physicians like their current platforms.
The research firm asked 889 physicians to discuss their EHRs. Nearly 43 percent of respondents belong to acute care facilities and 57 percent to ambulatory facilities.
