The system allows clinicians to collaborate on imaging data from any location without requiring local software installation.
GE HealthCare introduced MIM Anyware, a remote access platform designed to provide secure, healthcare system-controlled access to imaging data via a web browser. The platform allows authorized users to access software applications from virtually any location to support clinical decision-making and collaboration across departments.
The introduction comes as healthcare systems manage increasingly large and complex imaging volumes, which creates a need for improved access and workflow efficiency. According to the company, traditional virtual access methods are often limited by siloed workstations and significant IT requirements.
“As care teams face increasingly complex patient needs and growing imaging volumes, healthcare systems need technologies that make imaging data more accessible beyond the traditional workstation and enhance clinical collaboration,” says Jérémy Godart, medical physicist, Erasmus MC, in a release.
The platform allows multiple users—including physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists—to join the same session in real time. Participants can perform routine clinical processing, review registrations, and assess doses together. This remote access is intended to streamline cross-functional collaboration and support coordinated care.

The technology is specifically designed to support oncology workflows, including consultations, referrals, education, and tumor board collaboration. In addition to the new platform, GE HealthCare offers other software solutions for radiation therapy planning. These include MIM Maestro, which features a reirradiation and dose assessment workflow, and MIM Contour ProtégéAI+ 2.0, an artificial intelligence-enabled auto-contouring software that recently added new models for magnetic resonance brain and computed tomography male pelvis imaging.
The software portfolio provides vendor-neutral solutions for radiation oncology, radiology, nuclear medicine, theranostics, interventional radiology, and urology.
