Toshiba American Medical Systems, Tustin, Calf, has signed to become a sponsor of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). The company’s support will provide financial scholarships to the Fund for Innovation in Healthcare Leadership.  

The Fund’s scholarships enable 60 health care executives to access the program. In all, Toshiba will provide 20 annual scholarships to mid-level executives until 2012

The ACHE Executive Program is a series of two 2-day sessions and one 2.5-day session, spread out over the year in Chicago, San Diego and Orlando, and is designed to prepare midlevel managers for career and organizational growth.

Thomas C. Dolan, MD, president and CEO, ACHE said in a press release, “The contribution from Toshiba will provide important educational opportunities during these changing times, and enable future health care leaders to become architects of their institutions’ future and participants in the national health care dialogue.”
