American Fork, Utah-based NovaRad has signed new PACS contracts with radiology centers in Montana and two hospitals in the Philippines.

In Montana, Wheatland Memorial Healthcare, Harlowton, Mont., is a community center that will be using NovaRad’s web-based PACS. Previously, Wheatland used teleradiology services, but now will be able to use contract radiologists with NovaPACS web based system, helping to decrease report turnaround time.

Paul Shumway, NovaRad vice president, said in the press statement, “NovaPACS is helping to bridge the gap between rural and metropolitan service opportunities with technologies that can eliminate geographical barriers and provide instantaneous access to images and reports.”

In the Philippines, NovaRad expanded its NovaPACS and NovaRIS installations, adding De La Salle University Medical Center in Pasig City and Mother Teresa of Calcutta Medical Center in the City of San Fernando.

NovaRad has an installation base in the Philippines as well as a NovaRad office in Pasig City, Philippines.
