The five-year agreement will bring cloud-native radiology workflow software to 800 radiologists across six global markets.

Sirona Medical and Everlight Radiology have entered a five-year strategic partnership to deploy Sirona’s RadOS platform across Everlight’s global operations. Everlight, a multinational teleradiology provider, will replace its current picture archiving and communication systems (PACS) and reporting solutions with the unified, cloud-native platform in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and South Africa.

The agreement represents Sirona’s first partnership outside the US, according to a press release from Sirona Medical. The deployment will support 800 radiologists providing care to 350 hospitals.

“This partnership marks the beginning of the cloud-native era in radiology software globally,” says Andy Donaldson, chief technology officer of Everlight Radiology, in a release. “Sirona has delivered an architecture that is fundamentally different from anything else in the market today. Sirona is unified and cloud-native from the ground up.”

The RadOS platform integrates diagnostic viewing, reporting, PACS archive, worklist, and artificial intelligence (AI) into a single system accessible via a web browser. In addition to the current platform features, the two companies plan to develop agentic AI automations intended to improve clinical and operational efficiency.

“Through Sirona’s platform, Everlight will be able to build and deploy AI-powered automations across clinical, administrative, and operational workflows,” says Jeff Oakman, global chief operating officer of Everlight Radiology, in a release. “This partnership will fundamentally transform how our radiologists practice and position Everlight at the forefront of AI-enabled diagnostic medicine globally.”

Everlight also intends to use Sirona’s software development kit to build proprietary software and AI capabilities on top of the platform. This will allow the practice to create unique clinical workflows and operational efficiencies.

“Technology and culture have always been the foundation of Everlight’s success,” says Rob Anderson, CEO of Everlight Radiology, in a release. “Sirona is the only enterprise-grade cloud-native platform in radiology today. Our partnership will allow Everlight to do what we’ve always done: deliver quality care to patients anywhere, and the best clinical tools to our doctors everywhere.”

Cameron Andrews, founder and president of Sirona Medical, notes that the partnership will help patients and doctors outside the US access technologies that might otherwise have taken years to export.

“Sirona was founded to accelerate the transition to AI-powered healthcare globally, and our partnership with Everlight has accelerated this mission by years,” says Andrews in a release. “Everlight is leading the AI age globally, and we’re proud to now be their partner in doing so.”
